Judith Ruderman retired from her Duke University positions of Vice Provost and Adjunct Professor of English in 2009. With her current title of Visiting Professor she continues to teach seminars in literature for the English department once a year, as she has done since 1989. Her research and teaching interests are twofold: D. H. Lawrence and Jewish-American literature. She is working now on a study of passing strategies in Jewish-American literature and culture.
