What are Gateway Courses In English?
Gateway courses are entry-level English courses required for anyone who wants to major in English at Duke. One Gateway course must be taken before the end of the junior year, but as true intro courses they are great for freshman and sophomores who are still determining an undergraduate major. Gateway courses also count towards the 5-course English minor and carry W and ALP codes.
