I am a career Army officer with service overseas and as a faculty member in the Department of English & Philosophy at the US Military Academy at West Point.
My work as an English PhD student at Duke honed my abilities to teach, research, and publish on a wide array of topics within the humanities, including classical literature, war literature, cultural studies, and behavioral health. It also improved my abilities to think critically, communicate effectively, and serve as a member of a team.
