As a medical librarian, writer, and editor specializing in health and medical literature evaluation, my Duke English degree gave me the skills to understand, evaluate, and discuss texts on numerous subjects. This skillset has proven invaluable in analyzing scientific literature and in editing and improving other writers' discussions of scientific literature.
