I plan to begin my legal career in New York where I will be advising emerging companies through complex legal matters. More than anything, studying English taught me how to think creatively and communicate my ideas to a wide variety of audiences. As a lawyer, I also do a great deal of reading. My days reading poetry and novels in undergrad gave me confidence in my ability to understand complex material--I know I'll be able to make sense of even the densest of legal theories.
