I earned the degree when the reputation of English and Literature programs were at their height, so Duke English has been invaluable to launching my career and, mainly because of professional relationships with my grad school peers, continues to offer significant benefits. I've just gone through the college search process with my daughter and have been surprised and pleased to realize so many of us who finished at that time found very good jobs in very good places.
