I currently work as the Copy Chief for Garden & Gun magazine. Other positions I have held since graduating from Duke include Copy Chief at Vogue, Copy Editor at Discover magazine, and Managing Editor of a custom publishing company. I have also copyedited several books for such publishers as HarperCollins and Little, Brown and Company.
As an English major at Duke, I was challenged to read a wide variety of texts closely and critically. This was great preparation for being an editor.
