How has being an English graduate from Duke University help shape your professional success?

The ability to analyze text and read and create narratives is vital to what I do now in the Pharma industry. Most physicians do not get much experience with narrative analysis, but because of my English degree, I believe that I am able to write clearly and help make sense of adverse event reports and strengthen clinical submissions for new drugs.
