I'm an award-winning short fiction writer and recent graduate of NCSU's MFA program. I write science fiction, fantasy, and horror, and my stories have won the Nebula Award, World Fantasy Award, and Locus Award. I currently work at Epic Games as the Voice Over Coordinator for Paragon.
Being able to write and communicate effectively is a pretty useful skill! And the creative writing courses (especially Christina Askounis's fiction writing class) were a great place to study craft, hone skills, and learn how to build community in workshop settings.
