For the past five years, I've served as a the executive director of the Sonoma County Regional Parks Foundation, where I raise money for projects in our county parks. Prior to that, I was a marketing and public relations professional. In addition to my English degree from Duke, I earned an MBA with a specialization in nonprofit management. I am fortunate to have the perfect job for me!
Every step of my professional life, I've needed strong communication skills. Studying English at Duke taught me to express myself well and to think critically.
