How has being an English graduate from Duke University helped shape your professional success?

My studies at Duke changed the way I saw the world and how I saw myself. So much of what I do now connects back to my time at Duke: when I teach literature, I see vestiges of V. Strandberg, A. Davidson and C. Davidson. When I conduct my undergradate study abroad program in London, I channel my own studies there as an undergrad. I have recently been awarded a Fulbright to teach in Romania; the path that led me there started at Duke.
