HR Business Partners provide business executives guidance and coaching on their people strategies and managerial structure. HRBPs are responsible for succession planning, talent mapping, workforce readiness, performance management and compensation planning for an organization.
To partner effectively with executives you need to think critically about what is presented and also discern the dynamics that are unsaid. As an English major you must dive deep into different eras and cultures and think critically about what is on and off the page. This skillset is transferrable to the workplace.
