Wrote professionally in Los Angeles in my thirties. Wrote several unpublished screenplays and novels in my forties and fifties, though a "Twilight Zone" episode was under contract when the "New Twilight Zone" folded. Writing the history of my church now in my sixties.

How has being an English graduate from Duke University helped shape your professional success?: 
As a speaker perhaps. Mostly I've earned a living in sales. That said, a knowledge of literature and the humanities has enriched my life.
