The quality of my own classroom experience at Duke; the caliber of the libraries and other resources; the teaching experiences I gained as a graduate tutor; the opportunities to present papers at professional meetings (paid for by the Graduate School); the opportunity to develop as an academic leader--in all of these ways Duke has been a blessing to me personally and professionally.
