After completing my degree, I earned a Ph.D. from Yale University in American Studies
It's easy to say that being an English graduate from Duke University gave me the professional success I have had as a professor of American literature and women's writing. The professors in the English department helped me identify these foci of study, mentored me in preparation for graduate study, and embodied everything great professors should be.
