With my Duke English degree, I jumpstarted my career with effective communication skills and the ability to connect and relate to those around me. Through a variety of classes, including a seminar focused on D.H. Lawrence's works to an in-depth study of influential African-American authors, I developed a distinct point of view and became more knowledgeable about the human condition. Retail trends and strategies are constantly changing, but I am firmly planted in my abilities to write, engage, and most importantly, listen. These powerful tools from my Duke English degree inform my potential to transform into an unstoppable force.
