1981
University of Virginia Law School '84, practiced law 17 years; school administrator for 15 years
Writing was essential to my success in law school and led to my selection as an editor for the Virginia Journal of International Law. Critical reading and writing have continued to be indispensable skills in my role as an attorney and in communicating with faculty, prospective families, board members and other colleagues in my career in education administration. I am grateful for my degree in English and would choose it again.
