I'm a freelance photographer and writer. I'm also hoping to switch tracks professionally this year, as an English Literature Ph.D. student. I am waiting on offers from schools.
The alumni network opened many doors and invited networking opportunities and also the chance for career mentorship. Duke's English program is well respected and has been an asset as I applied for jobs, and now for a spot in Ph.D. programs.
