2017
After Duke, I graduated from the University of Virginia School of Law in 2020. After graduation, I spent a year clerking for a federal district judge in Raleigh, NC.
As an attorney, I use my Duke English degree in my daily work. My English degree taught me to write persuasive arguments, think analytically, and to tackle long, complex writing assignments. My English degree also provided a practice in empathizing with others' stories, something I found indelible when working in the court system.
